So I've been thinking these last few weeks it was a girl just because people stare right at my hips and say "oh yeah its a girl." I'm like really cause I've always carried my weight in my hips and thighs. I almost wanted it to be a boy more just so I could say "See! " I was kind of shocked when she said girl even though I thought it was one. I think maybe its just more the reality of knowing what it is period rather than just thinking its a baby- its a baby girl. Everyone's first question: "are you gonna buy lots of pink stuff?" I'm sure we will get pink stuff from people and thats fine, but the nursery will not be pink, no pink strollers, etc.
We have had a name thats been our front runner for some time now and nothing really has come up that we liked more. I can feel this name being right, I love this name, the sound, the look, the whole shebang. So we're 95% sure thats what it will be, but I'm hesitant to tell the world just yet. Plus, I'm really not in the mood to hear "oh yeah my sister in laws brother just named his kid that..." etc. Its not 100%original I know this, but when I think of it, I think of it as mine so please just let me have that!
On a side note, a lot has been happening in my stomach these past few weeks. We've gone from not feeling a thing a month ago to feeling it a lot in the past week or 2. Brandon is still uncertain as to whether or not he feels a stomach rumble or her moving. I told him its probably her. I guess we might have to wait till they get a little bigger for him to know for sure. I made sure I had the ultrasound lady tell me exactly where things were so I knew exactly what was touching me. I usually feel movement in the same spot and of course thats where the feet are so I'm getting kicked repeatedly.
So now we can finally go register but I'm honestly not in any hurry lol. I was chomping at the bit to register for our wedding but this time its different. Its so overwhelming! There is just so much stuff!! So I personally would rather go on a week night or something to avoid mass crowds and bare shelves. I don't need being irritated by too many people and the store being picked over to add to the stress.
